Do I use my own carrier accounts?
Yes. Connect your own FedEx, UPS and USPS accounts. BOXRATE shows the services and prices returned for those accounts. Carrier credentials and account access are required.
Is there a monthly subscription?
No. The launch license is a one-time payment. Updates and email support are included for 12 months. Maintenance after year one is optional: $79/year for Standalone or $199/year for Network.
Does it work without internet access?
The application and its database run locally. Live rates, address verification and tracking still require internet access to carrier APIs.
Where are my credentials stored?
Carrier credentials are encrypted and stored within your Standalone computer or Network environment. Settings and application history remain in that environment.
Which edition should I choose?
Choose Standalone for one Windows workstation. Choose Network for one licensed hosting computer, accessed by unlimited office users through their browsers.
Can I import orders or print labels?
Marketplace order imports and shipping labels are planned for future releases. The current version offers rates, batch processing, address verification, international landed-cost estimates and tracking.
